Spending his youth playing rock and roll music, Stevens traveled all over the country, playing with different bands while trying to make it big in the music business. A drummer by trade, Stevens finally gave up his rock and roll dreams when his band, “Green Sock Love”, broke up in 1982. Oddly, no one interviewed was able to confirm when Mr. Stevens began working at Lausanne, but dust samples taken from his room suggest it was decades ago. Kathleen Plyler, a teaching colleague of Clark and Stevens, reported that both men seem to get along fine until just recently.
